Welcome to the Finlandia Club of Port Arthur 100th Anniversary website. Through this website we hope to introduce you to the unique character of this heritage building. You are welcome to tour the exterior and interior of the building and to visit its rich history expressed through photographs past and present.
The Finlandia Club 100th Anniversary committee, consisting of board members and members at large, will be organizing numerous events to mark the incredible journey of this building known as the Finnish Labour Temple, Tyontemppeli, Poikatalo and since 1962 as the Finlandia Club of Port Arthur. Many recognize this building as the home of the world famous Hoito Restaurant.
We invite all persons from near and far to come join us in the festivities beginning with a grand New Year's Eve Celebration 2009/2010.

100th Anniversary Book
The Finlandia Club of Port Arthur 100th Anniversary committee requests your help in collecting photographs representing the past 100 years of the building. We ask that photographs include the date when it was taken and other relevant information. Names are optional. We hope to collect enough material to create a 100th Anniversary book which will be available for purchase with the proceeds going to the Finlandia Club Building Fund to help with the restoration of the building.
